Diners get a bang out of everything from quality steaks to virtually traditional and diversity fish in chips restaurants lining up Marine Drive. White Rock is nearby Boundary Bay, one of Canada’s spectacular places for bird watching. The White Rock Museum is situated in the aged White Rock Train Station building on the beach. Its function is the preservation and promotion of local culture and history. On display is around 100 years of White Rock and South Surrey history. The Archives of the Museum is an exciting accumulation of incredible documents and photographs from private and community records. With the knowledge and insight that they will be held in trust for future generations. The museum features a permanent history of White Rock exhibit as well as different changing exhibits throughout the year. After visiting the museum, you can walk up the hill using the pathways to check Uptown White Rock and the multiple galleries. The newly redesigned Coast Capital Theater Playhouse highlight rotating art exhibition and community art program.

Seats alongside the promenade reckon a good resting place to catch a glimpse of the sunset. Enjoy coffee or gelato ice cream or simply benefit from the whirl of activities that always happened around many public events. The Spirit of the Sea Festival celebrated every year is a 3-day family fun jammed event with a fireworks display, torchlight parade, and pirate costume contest. Yearly the Annual Polar Bear Swim is celebrated. Participants take a plunge in the icy South Surrey waters for fun, then afterward the swim, participants and spectators enjoy hot chocolate and coffee to warm up and benefit from the rest of the day. Participant by the same token goes back to their South Surrey inn to warm up and change. For Cyclist Tour de White Rock is a must event. From humble beginnings in 1980. It’s first ever bike race has 35 participants. Today Tour De White Rock is attracting around 150 pro cyclist coming from Europe, America, and Canada. Tour de White Rock has become a go-to event for pro cycling teams, fans, and media.
